Disobedient Objects, Exhibitions at the V&A, london ....unfinished

wow how amazing to see such a powerful and political charged exhibition at the V&A big shout to all who made this happen

nicholas klein 1914
we are greeted by a expedition who curator has chosen martrials which reflect the quintessential nature of the objects and messages which we are soon to find in the room
this seems like a logical choice but neverless i would of like to see more of an impact  tho it has been done very well and with out doubt adds to the semblance of the feeling that time and moeny are not on the side of the protestor

when i took this photograph of nicholas klein quote  i was wondering if a member of staff who was stood right next to me was going to stop me, she did not. thoe that would have been fantastical ironic, if she had done. tho it made me think that the v&a could ask the public to stop talking photograph and some how record peoples response to authority, question is how many people would be defiant and then become part of the  expedition itself. this i believe would throw up some profound moments of human interaction and show the public's ability to see irony, defiance and understand power logic of power with a public space

after entering this thought long enough  i started to guesstimate the rest of the displays

oh i almost forgot to mention, the entrance of the the V&A which has been given over to Disobedient objects sadly not to the exstent as when sublime Heatherwick Studios who had there exibition here in 2012  (oh u must look at this, Thomas Heatherwick takes a tour through his London 2012 V&A show, ohhhh sooo good. i pity the fools that missed this :) http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/video/2012/may/30/thomas-heatherwick-vanda-show-video )
oh on reflection this is not the best photograph i just bought these new shoes and just had to get them in the shot otherwise i would of got a better shot of the mosaics on ive side of the doors here, which would of been much more appropriate...... lol ps the shoes are camper

Any way i digress so where was i, oh yes its a shame that Disobedient Objects don't have such a wow factor upon the threshold as heatherwick studios did.

Disobedient Objects really is so very good and important that it desoves such grandeur, maybe all the protests flags/banners over the hundreds of year could be displayed i believe that not only be appropriate but give the massive visual impact that i think is missing from the moment the public walk up to the V&A
but saying that the very subdue entrance is not with out charm on the step up leading to the threshold of the V&A are some wonderfull quotes which with out dougt inspire thought and reflect upon humans who do stand and shout out there passion agenst the ruling elite.
so up the steps of great men and women you go. to be flanked by two wonderfull and well concived mural
on the left is history is a wepon

and on the right we find a john lennon quote power to the people which in turn was distilled from amazing black panthers “all power to the people” ……..cool

the details of each of these commissioned art work should not be missed and a closer look is warrented.

then we round a corner to the start of Disobedient Objects

i should mention at this point how truly magnificent the V&A building is even if you can tmake disobedient objects you must at lest ones in your life make your way here oh and you will need a day or two its happens to be on my door step and im still finding new rooms

sooooo back to where i was just about to guessimate the displays

still more to come

this is some of the conclusion....

in the totality of history the working poor aka working class\middle class has never had an voice or any representation
this sphere of privilege is exclusively for the ruling elite aka the church royle family and the odd wealth merchant
so to have this rare  expedition really is only a modern phenomenon one thoe i love to see more of in the future
but with our ruling class adding more and more co2 in the atmosphere i have a vision of the future where we end up as before with only the ruling elite ever making an history and everyone else sum up in one word, irrelevant.
